For almost two decades, Kendra Bracken-Ferguson has helped define and navigate the digital space as a creative force for brands and influencers, becoming a recognized and sought after innovative leader, visionary and transformative brand builder.

Most recently Kendra was the Chief Digital Officer of CAA-GBG, the largest brand management agency in the world with 24 offices in over 20 countries. BrainTrust, the social media agency that Kendra founded in 2016, joined CAA-GBG which is a joint venture between Global Brands Group Holding Limited (“Global Brands”), and Creative Artists Agency (“CAA”) in 2017. In April of 2019, Kendra bought back BrainTrust and the agency is now independent refocused on Brand Strategy and Social Media for brands, institutions and tastemakers.

Prior to BrainTrust gaining notoriety and success, Kendra saw an opening in the market for digital, social and influencer marketing and she co-founded Digital Brand Architects. DBA grew quickly from an idea at a kitchen table into the go-to firm for influencer management and was recently acquired by United Talent Agency (UTA).

Before launching DBA, Kendra created the social media footprint for fashion behemoth, Ralph Lauren, where she was the company’s first Director of Digital Media. Kendra's work during and since her time at Ralph Lauren was informed by her years as Vice President, Digital at Fleishman-Hillard, New York, where she led the digital consumer team in developing social media strategies for clients including AT&T, DKNY, and P&G.  A compelling and charismatic keynote speaker and industry leader, Kendra has been awarded the Emerging Voice Award by her alma mater Purdue University, named one of the "Most Influential African American Women" by Essence Magazine, Cayton Children’s Museum board member and noted by Mobile Marketer as a "Mobile Women to Watch” amongst other industry accolades. Kendra is also on the Forbes Agency Council and serves on the Advisory Board of Influencer Marketing Association.

Brandon Carter

Senior Director

Brandon has a keen focus on people, organizations and brands; with a desire to understand how they produce and consume, particularly in the digital space. He thrives on understanding and interpreting the nuances of culture, preference, style and resonance. Brandon is a graduate of Purdue University. He began his career as a roadie for a rock band, then things got real; he completed the Macy’s Executive Development Program and had a progressive journey there with executive roles in operations, learning & development, diversity/inclusion, human resources and marketing. Brandon comes to The BrainTrust from the Metropolitan Museum of Art, where he was a business partner for The Met Store. Brandon concentrates on fashion and beauty, providing unique insight into multicultural audiences across the agency.

Jade Brito

Account Manager

Jade is a graduate of William Paterson University of New Jersey where she first got a taste of Digital Marketing running social media for the school’s Her Campus chapter. Following graduation, she immersed herself in the social media world running content for Macadamia Professional, Equitance Skincare and Sure Deodorant at CMM PR. Following her time there, she was recruited by Factory PR to join their Digital Division overseeing content production, influencer marketing and community management for clients ASOS, Macy’s, Brandless and Eugenia Kim.

Jade is currently the Associate Account Manager at BrainTrust.

Dominique Dickerson

Influencer Coordinator

Dominique is a Howard University graduate with her degree in Media, Journalism and Film. While attending Howard, her love for Social Media manifested while interning at her local campus TV station, curating social content for their daily programs. Upon graduation, Dominique started her journey in entrepreneurialism by becoming a Freelance Social Media Strategist. There, she created and managed all published content for businesses and Creative Executives. Currently, she serves as a Influencer/Social Media Coordinator for BrainTrust.

Mitzi A. Gonzalez


Seeing the impact media made in her community growing up, Mitzi developed a passion for amplifying messages and ideas with a purpose. She graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a degree in Communications, Public Relations and quickly entered the entertainment industry. She interned at the National Association of Latino Independent Producers (NALIP), CBS Television Network and went on to work her way up from the mailroom at Creative Artists Agency (CAA), eventually doubling as Executive Assistant and Coordinator for former CAA-GBG Chief Executive Officer and BrainTrust Founder, Kendra Bracken-Ferguson.
