OUR FEARLESS FOUNDER
For two decades, Kendra Bracken-Ferguson has helped frame and navigate the digital space as a creative force for brands and influencers, becoming a recognized and celebrated innovative leader, visionary and transformative brand builder.
Kendra has created, built and monetized over 200 influencer driven brands from idea inception to acquisition through data led strategies that have successfully generated over $100M in revenue through e-commerce and retail. As a brand builder and data anthropologist, Kendra has made it a business practice to build data-first businesses around niche influencers and talent primarily focused in CPG, beauty and wellness. Kendra was credited with launching the first mobile music studio licensing and rev share deal between unsigned bands, Cingular Wireless and Myspace in 2003 and has continued to build revenue generating brand partnerships and opportunities ever since.
As the Co-Founder of Digital Brand Architects (DBA), Kendra built the first revenue generating network of talent as the first blogger management agency evolving into a global company that upon exit to UTA earlier this year, had a collective reach of 200 million. Post DBA, Kendra Founded BrainTrust, a social media and digital data marketing agency that drove the digital brand strategy and online media presence for talent and global brands such as Halle Berry, Kelly Ripa Home, Dear Drew by Drew Barrymore, Revelations Entertainment, Sally Beauty, Under Armour and many more before being acquired by CAA-GBG (Creative Artists Agency and Global Brands Group Holding Limited), the largest brand management agency in the world, becoming their first Chief Digital Officer to drive monetizable commercialization strategies for brands and talent.
Since buying BrainTrust back from CAA-GBG in March 2019, Kendra recently created a strategic partnership for BrainTrust with Beautycon, the fastest-growing, immersive beauty experiential company in the world. As part of this deal, Kendra will continue to serve as Founder and Chairman of BrainTrust and Chief Business Officer for Beautycon responsible for driving the company’s business and brand partnerships, data innovation hub, brand marketing and social media, proprietary influencer network as well as long term growth initiatives and revenue.
Before launching DBA, Kendra created the social media footprint for fashion behemoth, Ralph Lauren, where she was the company’s first Director of Digital Media. Kendra's work during and since her time at Ralph Lauren was informed by her years as Vice President of Digital at Fleishman-Hillard, New York, where she led the digital consumer team in developing social media strategies for clients including AT&T, DKNY, and P&G. Kendra has been awarded the Emerging Voice Award by her alma mater Purdue University, named one of the "Most Influential African American Women" by Essence Magazine, Cayton Children’s Museum board member, Forbes Agency Council member, serves on the Advisory Board of Influencer Marketing Association and noted by Mobile Marketer as a "Mobile Women to Watch” amongst other industry accolades.
